Our future site, which has been named The Coffee Village shall see the light of day in 2013. It has been conceived with the High Environmental Quality criteria in mind and shall be in line with an economical approach that will contribute towards regional integration.

Our future site shall extend over 15 hectares, 13 of which are located in a forested area. It has been conceived in accordance with High Environmental Quality goals and shall see the light of day on the heights of the Gaude, a town located in the Var valley, just 15 minutes from the Nice international airport. The environmental criteria being employed take the following elements into account:

  • Natural construction material and procedures,
  • Architecture in line with environmental integration concerns,
  • handling noise pollution,
  • performing roastery smoke treatment through catalyzers, in order to make it undetectable in the ambient air.
  • rainwater recovery and adequacy
  • energy-plus houses.

The Coffee Village will host the company headquarters, a coffee roastery, a greenhouse area, a research & development department, a day-nursery as well as a coffee museum for the general public and business tourists. An area that will host conferences and other cultural activities has also been incorporated in order to be able to contribute to the development of the town and region.

In January 2008, the site’s foundation stone was laid in presence of the town’s Prefect, the President of the Departmental Council and several other political and business personalities. This important event also hosted the official announcement of the Var Ecovallée project. This Project has been declared a project of National Interest, aiming to develop businesses that base their activity on their own technology, or developing their activity through the use of these technology solutions.
