Les cafés Malongo

Les expositions Malongo

EXhibits

Exhibitions in collaboration with important scientific partners.

In 2001, Malongo staged an exhibition of more than 800 coffee grinders in Marseilles, at the House of Arts and Crafts.

In 2003, Malongo contributed items to an exhibition on coffee and more especially its role as a sociability factor, at the Château de Maison (Maisons Laffitte). The same year, several objects were put on display at the Adrien Dubouché museum in Limoges.

Today, Malongo is working on an exhibition project with MUCEM (European and Mediterranean Civilisations Museum) which is due to open in Marseilles in 2013.

Certain prestigious objects in the collection are also exposed on Reunion island in the Le café à Bourbon exhibition, which provides a new vision of the history of coffee growing around the Indian ocean.

Malongo has supported contemporary creations since 2005.

After Arthur Barrio at the Palace in Tokyo, the brand is now turning to the Senegalese artist Ndary Lô. The artist's large-scale portraits, some of which are painted using coffee, highlight the famous and less famous having fought for the recognition of human rights.
